Poland Constitution Day

On May 3rd, 1791, Poland adopted one of the world’s first modern constitutions, marking a bold step toward democratic governance and national reform. Though the nation would soon face partitions and foreign rule, this historic document became a lasting symbol of Poland’s commitment to liberty, sovereignty, and civic responsibility.  Constitution Day stands as a tribute to the enduring spirit of a people determined to preserve their identity.

Poland’s history is one of resilience, shaped by both hardship and hope.  Even in times of division, the ideals of unity and self-determination never faded. Today, this celebration is a reflection of national pride and perseverance.  It reminds the world that the pursuit of freedom, even in the face of adversity, leaves a legacy that cannot be erased.
